How the eConference Works

On Thursday and Friday, a live broadcast of both Keynote Speakers and most of the Featured Speakers will be available for the eConference. Obviously the times of the live broadcasts are the same time as the conference.

Keynotes: from 10:00 am to 11:15 am

Featured speakers: 8:30 am to 9:45, 11:45 to 1:00 pm, 1:15 to 2:30 pm and 2:45 to 4:00 pm

Ignite: (Friday only) 1:15 to 4:00 pm
It is acceptable to have 2 or more groups at an eSite, for instance a primary/junior group and an intermediate group.

Some, but not all, of the speakers have given the OAME 2016 organizers permission to allow eDelegates to choose a time during the conference to view a recording of the speaker’s presentation. These recordings are only available on Thursday and Friday, May 5th & 6th. The recording will be available about 30 minutes after the live broadcast is finished. For their eSite, the eCoordinator can develop their own schedule of sessions which can be a combination of live and recorded sessions.

There are 3 options for the number of sessions that can be selected for the e-Conference:

One Session; live broadcast or recording, on either Thursday or Friday

Four Sessions; 4 live broadcasts, or 4 recordings, or a combination of live broadcasts and recordings.
Viewing can be all on Thursday or all on Friday or some Thursday and some Friday

Eight Sessions; a combination of 8 live broadcasts and recordings.
Viewing would be on Thursday and Friday or all on Friday if there were 2 or more groups at an e-Site.
With the 4 or 8 session options, viewing of all sessions must be done at one location.
It is acceptable to have 2 or more groups at a site, for instance a primary/junior group and an intermediate group.
